break in scheduled programming : a reminder

Hi all! 

Dating standards seems to be back on some kind of roll, yeah? And with that — I think it’s time to remind you all of something. 

We’re not here to bash the living hell out of romance and love, nor do we find any disgust in happy couples — anything critical said here is done so with a grain of salt, or at least from the point of view of someone who’s experienced the situation. Let’s not forget the bigger picture here, love is the best! When it’s good, it’s really good - cloud 9 euphora, better than ice cream on a summer’s day goodness. 

Remember the first time you fell in love? Holding hands, awkward dates, mumbled “I love you”s. The whole big sloppy mess that it is, it’s what life is all about. Sure, it’s sour when it ends and hearts tend to harden over time - but it’s nothing that the next love can’t cure. And with that said, keep an open eye if you’re looking or make sure the glimmer’s still present in the apple of yours and your partner’s. xo
